In the scope of creating a gas exchange market in Poland in accordance
with the provisions of the Third Energy Package and the regulations of
the European Parliament and of the Council on Energy Market Integrity
and transparency (REMIT) Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.
together with the Polish Power Exchange organized the conference for the
gas market participants on “Implementation of the new Gas Market Model”.
During the conference, the Gas Market Model provided introduction of the
virtual point and the interoperability with exchange market mechanisms
of the gas trade were presented. The planned scope of the changes to the
TNC, incorporating the newly established principles were also
discussed.
