21-04-11 Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc - the first foreign investment company has become a member of POLPX
Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc, with registered office in London ("Morgan Stanley" thereinafter), acting on the grounds of it's European passport under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive 2004/39/EC ("MIFID), has became a Member of the Polish Power Exchange ("the POLPX" thereinafter) and - starting from the 19th of April 2011 - it will be admitted to trading activities on the Day-Ahead and Intraday Market and the Commodity Derivatives Market.
19-04-11 EDF Trading Limited as well as Dom Maklerski IDM S.A. becomes next member of the POLPX within the scope of the Day-Ahead and Intraday Market and the Commodity Derivatives Market
Since the day of April the 19th 2011 EDF Trading Limited (called "EDF Trading" thereinafter), one of the biggest companies conducting power trading in Europe, has started the electricity trading on the Day-Ahead and Intraday Market (the DAM&IDM) and on the Commodity Derivatives Market (the CDM) run by the Polish Power Exchange (called "the POLPX" thereinafter)
15-04-11 The first person entered on the commodity exchange brokers list after accomplishing of so-called adaptation training on the POLPX
On the day 30/03/2011 Sergio Aller Fernandez – the trader of Spanish Iberdrola Generación was entered on the Commodity Exchange Brokers List, kept by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, after accomplishing of co-called adaptation training on the Polish Power Exchange.
12-04-11 More than 240% increase of electricity trading on the Polish Power Exchange
In March this year total electricity trading volume on the Polish Power Exchange amounted to 10,959 TWh and it was higher in comparison with the preceding month by 246,59% (3,162 TWh in February 2011).
