Financial Instruments Market

The Financial Instruments Market of the Polish Power Exchange (TGE) is part of the capital market infrastructure, enabling the trading of financial instruments in a regulated and supervised environment. The FIM is part of TGE’s offering, providing market participants with transparent operating rules and a high level of trading security.

The financial instruments quoted on FIM must be admitted to trading in accordance with applicable laws and the Exchange’s internal regulations, and trading currently covers emission allowances.

The organisation of trading, trading rules and market surveillance are based on standards appropriate for regulated markets. The FIM enables market participants to consolidate their investment activity in a single environment and to manage their market exposure efficiently, in line with their individual strategies and business profiles.

Eligibility to become a member of the TGE's Financial Instruments Market is restricted to domestic and foreign investment companies and other companies that buy and sell financial instruments on their own behalf and account, provided they meet the conditions for operating on a regulated market.

The clearing and settlement of transactions concluded on the TGE's Financial Instruments Market are carried out in accordance with the principles set out by the Warsaw Commodity Clearing House (IRGiT).

Detailed information on the rules of operation of the TGE’s Financial Instruments Market, the conditions of participation, and the current offer of financial instruments can be found in the relevant internal regulations and information materials published by the Exchange.
