Electricity volume traded on the Intraday Market increased by 20.3 per cent in July 2025 when compared to the June level, and by 88.4 per cent comparing to July 2024, reaching 316,800 MWh. This has been the highest result since the beginning of 2024.
Electricity
In July 2025, the volume of electricity traded at TGE totalled 8,715,240 MWh, which means a decrease by 28.6 per cent comparing to the July 2024 figure. The volume-weighted average price on the Day-Ahead Market was 445.99 PLN/MWh, going up by 95.41 PLN/MWh comparing to the month of June. On the EFM, the weighted average price of a yearly contract with base load delivery in 2026 (BASE_Y-26) was 414.53 PLN/MWh, down by 4.94 PLN/MWh on the price of this contract in the preceding month.
Natural gas
The volume of transactions concluded on the natural gas market in July 2025 totalled 21,968,356 MWh, an increase by 84.1 per cent y/y. The volume-weighted average price on the DAM&IDMg was 161.67 PLN/MWh, 15.89 PLN/MWh below the previous month’s level. Meanwhile, on the GFM, the weighted average price of a contract with delivery in 2026 (GAS_BASE_Y-26) fell to 166.88 PLN/MWh in July, 3.54 PLN/MWh below the corresponding price of this contract in June.
Property rights
The trading volume of property rights for electricity generated in RES totalled 1,091,552 MWh in July 2025, going down by 30.9 per cent y/y. The volume-weighted average price of the PMOZE_A instrument traded during the PRM sessions was 26.94 PLN/MWh and was higher by 0.89 PLN/MWh than in June 2025.
The volume of trading in property rights for energy efficiency went up by 145.6 per cent y/y, to 5,135 toe. The weighted average session price of the PMEF_F instrument was 2,271.09 PLN/toe going down by 122.13 PLN/toe as compared to June.
Guarantees of origin
The volume of guarantees of origin for electricity generated in RES and traded in July 2025 totalled 4,588,961 MWh falling by 0.1 per cent y/y. The weighted average price of a guarantee of electricity generated in RES was 6.78 PLN/MWh, and was higher by 1.89 PLN/MWh than in the previous month.
Agri-food commodities
No transactions were made on the Exchange Agricultural Market in July 2025.
