TGE continues its dialogue with the market – a seminar of the Market Surveillance Office

On 23.10.2023, a seminar entitled 'The process of exchange trade surveillance by trading participants under the current market conditions' organised by TGE’s Market Surveillance Office was held. The meeting was addressed to those in charge of coordinating trading operations and the activities of analyst, legal and compliance teams as well as portfolio management experts on the part of Exchange Members, and focused on:

• the impact of off-exchange transactions on the transparency and integrity of the domestic market for energy products;
• the impact of trading participants’ actions on market efficiency and market signal generation;
• a process flow example for monitoring exchange operations by trading participants.

The event was moderated by the TGE’s Market Surveillance Office and the topics were prepared in cooperation with the Exchange Members Coordination Team.
