On 29 June 2017, the Ordinary Shareholders Meeting of Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. appointed Paweł Ostrowski as President of the Management Board for a new joint term starting on the date of the General Shareholders Meeting.
Paweł Ostrowski has over 15 years of experience in the capital market. He has been holding the position of the President of the Management Board of TGE since 14 December 2016. He has worked with financial institutions including PKO Bank Polski S.A., Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank Polska S.A., BNP Paribas Polska S.A. From 2007, he was Head of Sales in the Treasury Department of PKO BP Bank Polski S.A. He specialises in sales of Treasury products and commodity risk and interest rate risk hedging instruments. He has participated in projects implementing MiFID and in the merger with Nordea Bank Polska S.A. Paweł Ostrowski is also a Member of the General Assembly of Europex.
Paweł Ostrowski is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics where he obtained an academic degree of PhD and defended dissertation titled “The use of derivatives in exchange rate risk management within the organisation”. He also completed Executive MBA degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, as well as postgraduate studies in capital market law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
The current composition of the Management Board of TGE is: Paweł Ostrowski - President of the Management Board, Dagmara Gorzelana, Member of the Supervisory Board temporarily delegated to perform duties of Vice President of the Management Board.
